Frequently Asked Questions
"How much will it cost?"..."How long will it last?"
These are questions that are most important to our customers. Like so
many other buying decisions you get what you pay for provided
you choose the right contractor. Good materials, sound structural design
and professional installation are the three components of a quality job.
Using the best materials is a waste if the structural design is inadequate
or the installation is done poorly.
It is important that you understand that the quality of a project does
not always show up immediately. Before you make a decision based on price
alone, you should realize that your choice of materials, style and contractor
will affect the appearance of your home for the next 10 to 25 years. We
stand behind our commitment to give you the best product for your money.

APPEARANCE
Treated Pine Decks are pressure treated to avoid any type of deterioration.
However, warping, twisting and splits can be characteristics of treated
pine without proper care. You can minimize these by sealing your deck
on a yearly basis. Redwood Decks, being a more natural outdoor wood, hold
their shape better. However, they will discolor more quickly. Redwood
decks require more care in yearly maintenance.
SUMMARY
Treated pine is by far the most affordable wood and reasonable option.
It has a longer life expectancy, and only requires annual treatment to
maintain.
